Flight Crew! After the Paleo challenge we decided to give away a few more prizes for those of you who didn’t win the Paleo challenge but had a life changing experience. The rules were to leave a reply to the Blog post and the top 3 would win massages with Shannon Hole of Whole body works. Well we only had two people leave replies and they both deserve to win. We also had one other Athlete who left me a very personal message about what CrossFit has meant to her and how it’s changed her life, I wish to keep the message private but I want to reward her with a free massage also.

Doing the 6 week challenge changed the way I now look at food and eating. I have changed the way I shop for food and also read labels. I now taste food, like the sweetness in carrots or bananas, that I didn’t before. I didn’t realize before how much junk I ate. I lost a total of 12 lbs. and 3.3 % body fat, but I gained so much more. I feel better, I have muscles now !!!! I am getting stronger and more fit everyday. I learned you are what you eat, and what you eat can make you feel good and energized or tired and crappy. I learned that I can do things I didn’t think I could like a 5K with out stopping. I am learning to push myself more physically and I am stronger then I think. I am staying Paleo, I love all the new foods that I am eating and do not miss the junk. I want to see how far I can go both in weight and strength. I really love making my own food, like mayo and dressing w/o all the junk. The challenge has been a life changer for me, I am so glad I did it. Thanks coaches for putting it together!!!!!
Thank you Coaches. The Paleo Challenge, which started out as just a challenge as far as I was concerned, has turned into a whole new way of life for me. I had no intention of keeping it up really. Between that and CrossFit I am a different person. Health and wellness is even more important to me now. I think about what I put into my body. It is going to help me or is it just for “fun.” I read EVERYTHING I’m thinking of buying. I think about what I eat giving me fuel for the WODs and fuel for the everyday function of life.
I became even a bit more defined muscularly. I finally saw a change in my legs more than anywhere else. My abs are there, just hidden by age……LOL
I really see no reason to not stay as Paleo as possible. I hate to call it a diet, it’s a way of life, permanent. The exchange of ideas during the challenge made it fun.
If it wasn’t for the atmosphere, the coaches, and the family at CrossFit Flight, I’m not sure I would have stuck with the challenge OR CrossFit. You are the best and don’t ever doubt
